TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Codifiq LLC, a company organized under the laws of the State of California ("Lobbi," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Lobbi - Find Your Squad app (the "App").
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE REQUIREMENT
Lobbi is intended solely for individuals who are twenty-five (25) years of age or older.
By creating an account or using the App, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 25 years old;
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; and
- All information you provide to Lobbi is accurate, current, and complete.
Lobbi reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate any account that is suspected of violating the age requirement or providing false information.
2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND AUTHENTICATION
To access Lobbi, users must authenticate using a supported third-party provider, which may include Google, Apple, or Discord. Lobbi does not offer username-and-password authentication.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized or unauthorized. Lobbi is not responsible for access issues, service interruptions, or data handling practices of third-party authentication providers.
Accounts are personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared.
3. USER PROFILES AND INFORMATION
As part of onboarding and continued use of the App, users may be required or permitted to provide profile information, including personal details, gaming preferences, availability, and optional profile content.
You agree not to:
- Impersonate any person or entity;
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliations;
- Upload content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, or inappropriate.
Lobbi does not verify the accuracy of user-provided information and makes no guarantees regarding the authenticity of other users.
4. USER CONDUCT AND COMMUNITY STANDARDS
You agree to use Lobbi in a respectful and lawful manner. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Harassment, abuse, threats, or intimidation;
- Hate speech, discriminatory behavior, or explicit content;
- Spam, scams, or deceptive practices;
- Circumventing moderation, reporting, or security features;
- Attempting to exploit, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App.
Lobbi maintains in-app reporting and moderation systems and reserves the right to investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts at its sole discretion.
5. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Users may create content within the App, including messages, squad requests, and profile information ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content through the App, you grant Lobbi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process such content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the App.
Lobbi reserves the right to remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
6. MATCHING, INTERACTIONS, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Lobbi facilitates discovery, matching, and communication between users based on self-reported preferences and activity.
Lobbi does not guarantee:
- That users will receive matches;
- Compatibility or shared interests;
- The conduct, intent, or safety of other users.
You acknowledge that all interactions occur at your own risk, and Lobbi is not responsible for offline or online interactions between users.
7. PARENT SHIELD FEATURE (INFORMATIONAL ONLY)
Lobbi offers an optional feature known as Parent Shield, which allows users who identify as parents to optionally indicate general age ranges of their children.
Parent Shield:
- Is entirely optional;
- Is self-reported and not verified;
- Collects only age ranges, not personal or identifying information about children;
- Exists solely to reflect personal preferences within the App.
Lobbi does not provide parental monitoring, child safety services, or verification of parental status. Parent Shield should not be interpreted as a safety feature or assurance of suitability.
8. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Lobbi may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct that threatens the integrity of the platform or community.
Users may delete their accounts at any time through in-app settings. Account deletion results in the removal of associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property related to the App, including software, trademarks, logos, and design elements (excluding User Content), is owned by Lobbi or its licensors and may not be used without prior written consent.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. LOBBI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOBBI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM USER INTERACTIONS OR LOSS OF DATA.
12. ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in class or representative actions.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
14. CHANGES TO TERMS
Lobbi may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
